Collecting these photo's is so FUN !
Occasionally I hit the jack pot. Here is a classic, 1965 photo, Glen in th new grant king roadster that Charlie Shearman bought. This car never handled very well, it was built right next to the pink lady roadster that ron porter drove for art sugai. Glen rolled it and broke his collar bone and they found that the cage was black pipe. Charlie was really upset ! that was when they put the square tubing - slopping cage on it. Ken Hamilton next drove it with some success. They next painted it red and #13 and dad drove it for about a month. He had the left front up in the air and it still did not handle. They finally sold it to Dallas Chester and he put a more original cage back on it. Check out dad in the red and white stripped shirt in the background in #13...............classic......!

*I know the picture says 1960, but we moved to Castle Rock Washington the summer of 1959 and this picture was taken before we moved. Tom Zumwalt
