The Malloy Brothers Jim (left) and Jerry (right) with their famous "Red Rooster" supermodified.
This was the car that made Jim Malloy famous as a driver and Jerry Malloy famous as a chassis fabricator. During the early days of CAMRA this was the combination everyone else tried to beat.
Tragically, Jim Malloy would die of injuries he received in a practice crash while preparing for his 5th Indianapolis 500 in 1972. |
