Here we have a Vintage Sprint Car or Super Modified. I have had this car for several years with the intention of rebuilding it for vintage racing. I have too many other things going on,and this has to go. I was told that Jerry Malloy built this car for Pete Cazier here in Salt Lake City. Pete had Bob Stevens drive the car here on the asphalt,and later the car was sold,and competed on the dirt. The car has a 95 inch wheelbase,Cross spring front suspension,and stacked tube torsion rear. CAE compact in-out box set up to run a clutch,and starter. CAE Champ rear end. Halibrand brakes. One front caliper missing,and both front hats,and rotors gone. Nice manual steering, ( I think it is a Schroeder) but not sure. Nice radiator in car. Bolt on cage. CAE pressure plates,and wing nuts. Front wing nuts are 2 5/8 and the rear are over 3 inches. Car sat for over 25 years when I got it. Upholstery is rotted away. This car ran a small block Ford when new,and later converted to Chevrolet power.There is a block,and heads in car that you can have,or I can remove if you dont want the extra shipping weight. Engine is offset to the left about one inch. Car was white #11 when it ran the Ford engine. Check out the pictures,and ask any questions you may have.
